QUICK START GUIDE

Follow the steps below to install the Digital Planner, Inserts, Stickers, Dividers and Covers.

DIRECTIONS

STEP 1

DOWNLOAD PDF ANNOTATION APP

Our digital planners work through PDF annotation apps, as shown on the How It Works page.

Click the button below to choose a PDF annotation app to download. Some are free and some are paid. In these directions, we use Goodnotes PDF annotation app, however, you can use any app you'd like.

DOWNLOAD PRODUCT FILES

You can download the product files from your Email Receipt, Thank You Page or Your Account page. Because your Apple's iOS version may vary, please watch the entire video. If your download is a Zip File, tap the "I Have a Zip File"button under this video.

Open your email on an email app (preferably using the Apple Mail App) or on the Safari browser on your device

  1. Open the Email Receipt from Reina Design Studio. If you can't find it, check spam or use search tool

  2. Tap the Product name to download  the product file. If given a browser choice, tap Safari. If your download is a Zip File, click here or click the "I Have a Zip File"button under this video

  3. Follow the video to finish downloading the file (Both iOS versions are shown in video)

  4. Open the Files app navigate to where you saved the file

  5. Tap the file in the Files App to open it

  6. Go to Step 3 to install the Planner, go to Step 4 to install the Inserts, Stickers or Dividers, go to Step 5 to install the Cover

ZIP FILES

DOWNLOAD & UNZIP PRODUCT FILES

Here you will learn to download the zip file which contains the multiple product files inside, then unzip the file. Because your Apple's iOS version may vary, please watch the entire video. Below are 2 methods for unzipping files. If the first one doesn't work on your device, follow Method 2.

METHOD 1: iCloud Files 

  1. Open your email on an email app or Safari browser on your device

  2. Open the Email Receipt from Reina Design Studio. If you can't find it, check spam or use search tool

  3. Tap the Product name to download  the product file. If given a browser choice, tap Safari and go to the next step below

  4. Follow the video to finish downloading the Zip file

  5. Open the Files app navigate to where you saved the Zip file

  6. Tap the Zip file in the Files App to unzip

  7. Tap the unzipped folder to open it

  8. Go to Step 3 to install the Planner, go to Step 4 to install the Inserts, Stickers or Dividers, go to Step 5 to install the Cover

METHOD 2: File Explorer 

Download File Explorer App (Free) from the app store​​

  1. Open your email on an email app or Safari browser on your device

  2. Open the Email Receipt from Reina Design Studio. If you can't find it, check spam or use search tool

  3. Tap the Product name to download  the product file. If given a browser choice, tap Safari and go to the next step below

  4. Follow the video to finish downloading the Zip file

  5. You should now see a screen with a paper icon that says ZIP on it. Tap the More button at the bottom of the screen

  6. Scroll the app icons to the left till you see the 3 dot More button and tap it

  7. Scroll down and tap the Copy to File Explorer button

  8. It will automatically open File Explorer then asks you to choose a location to save the Zip file

  9. Chose a location (Local is fine) then tap Save

  10. Navigate to the location where you saved the Zip file

  11. Tap the Zip file icon, then tap Unarchive

  12. Go to Step 3 to install the Planner, go to Step 4 to install the Inserts, Stickers or Dividers, go to Step 5 to install the Cover

Continue using the same Method and app you used Step 2 above.

METHOD 1: iCloud Files 

  1. In the Files app, navigate to the planner

  2. Tap the Digital Planner to open it, then tap the Share button

  3. Tap "Open in Goodnotes" (If you want to use a different PDF annotation app, scroll the app icons to the left till you see the 3 dot More button and tap it, then scroll down and tap the button for the app you want to use)

  4. In Goodnotes, tap Import as New Document and choose a location if asked​ then the planner will open

  5. Go to step 4

METHOD 2: File Explorer 

Download File Explorer App (Free) from the app store​​

  1. In File Explorer, navigate to the planner

  2. Tap the 3 dot button under the digital planner icon
    4. Tap the orange Share button, then tap "Open in Goodnotes" (If you want to use a different PDF annotation app, scroll the app icons to the left till you see the 3 dot More button and tap it, then scroll down and tap the button for the app you want to use)

  3. In Goodnotes, tap Import as New Document and choose a location if asked​ then the planner will open

  4. Go to step 4

INSTALL INSERTS, STICKERS & DIVIDERS

Continue using the same Method and app you used Step 2 above. Inserts, Stickers and Dividers are all image files and installed the same way into the planner.

METHOD 1: iCloud Files 

  1. In the Files app, navigate to the Inserts, Stickers or Dividers

  2. Tap an Insert, Sticker or Divider page to open it

  3. Tap the Share button

  4. Tap Copy

  5. Open the Digital Planner in Goodnotes, then navigate to your desired page

  6. Tap and hold on the planner page, then tap paste

  7. Repeat this till all the Inserts, Stickers or Dividers are in the planner​

METHOD 2: File Explorer 

Download File Explorer App (Free) from the app store​​

  1. In File Explorer, navigate to the Inserts, Stickers or Dividers

  2. Tap the 3 dot button under the Inserts, Stickers or Divider icon
    4. Tap the orange Share button

  3. Tap Copy

  4. Open the Digital Planner in Goodnotes, then navigate to your desired page

  5. Tap and hold on the planner page, then tap paste

  6. Repeat this till all the Inserts, Stickers or Dividers are in the planner​

INSTALL COVERS

Continue using the same Method and app you used Step 2 above.

METHOD 1: iCloud Files 

  1. In the Files app, navigate to the Cover and tap it

  2. Tap the Share button

  3. Tap Save Image

  4. Open the Digital Planner in Goodnotes, then navigate to the current cover

  5. Tap the button with the paper and + icon

  6. Tap Before

  7. Tap Image

  8. Choose the Cover to insert it

METHOD 2: File Explorer 

Download File Explorer App (Free) from the app store​​

  1. In File Explorer, navigate to the Cover

  2. Tap the 3 dot button under the Cover icon

  3. Tap the orange Share button

  4. Tap Save Image

  5. Open the Digital Planner in Goodnotes, then navigate to the current cover

  6. Tap the button with the paper and + icon on the top right

  7. Tap Before

  8. Tap Image

  9. Choose the Cover to insert it

ANNOTATE THE PLANNER

Now that you've installed the Digital Planner and accessories, you can now have fun and start planning and decorating. The instructions in this section will help you get started using the Digital Planner, Planner Inserts, and Planner Accessories with the Goodnotes app. If using a different PDF annotation app, please refer to their support page for similar instructions. The instructions below are also available on the FAQ on the Support page.
